The State Department has rules to prevent children from obtaining U.S. passports without the consent of both parents. It also has programs to protect children involved in custody disputes. They try to prevent one parent from taking a child abroad without the consent of the other parent. We organize special passport fairs in the United States to make it easier for you to obtain your passport. New events are added to our website every week. Most events are for new applicants and children (who use Form DS-11). If you can use Form DS-82, you can renew Form DS-82 via email as you wish! You must present one of the following identification documents (ID) to the acceptor. The ID should easily identify you. During these 2 weeks, your application will be delivered to a postal establishment, your payment will be processed and your application will be scanned and sent to us.
