However, I am against anyone who violates the law (Schutzhundetrainer) or against clubs that turn a blind eye. Whether I agree with the law or not, it is the law. In answer to the question (which was not until now), it is state law to do nothing with VCA restricting Schutzhund`s training, but there are still many people training and clubs that allow it. I guess you know that there are 3 “sections” that are just as important in the Schutzhund (when looking at the sport as a whole) No, I`m not interested in dobering them. I`m not trying to make a point, I`m just curious and thought someone on the forum would know. Like I said, I don`t know much about laws, so I didn`t know why a coach “could” do something if it`s illegal. I`m painfully law-abiding, damn it, I feel guilty when I cross the street where there are no traffic lights, so this piqued my interest. I know of an accredited dog trainer in Victoria who currently breeds and trains two young dogs in Schutzhund. Now, I`m not at all interested in this kind of training, so I`m not up to date, but I thought it had recently become illegal in Victoria. Is that the case? No, I had no idea about MonElite. Since this is the case, I correct myself, apparently I am interested and even participate in a department of Schutzhund, since I have been training in obedience for many years.
I hope I`ll cross my fingers to even do obedience tests this year or next. My next challenges will be agility and a little breeding. Click HERE to find the nearest club. Click HERE to see our collection of photos and videos. If you don`t care about sports at all, could you tell us why you want to know? We have highly certified judges and performance teams from Australia who put the most successful PGI dogs into tests, both at home and overseas. The level of training is amazing and I have no idea why anyone would have tried to stop it – I hope people in other states won`t be so misled. I think it`s an impressive workout, but like I said, it`s just not something I would get into. I think it was more the legal issue that interested me. AND nobody cares, damn it, they even encourage it. like normal people.
Before I ask, no, it`s not a coach I train with and I don`t think they`re members of the forum. A dog must pass all three stages of an exam to receive a title. It is not appropriate for a community member to have access to an attacked dog unless it is a licensed security guard. This is reflected in the strict provisions of the Pet Act. It would be easier if we lived closer to the border hey Erny funny as all breeders of lines of eligible breeds sche freely advertise it and they are still registered breeders. A dog must be at least 12 months old before protection training is authorized. Just another reason to leave this friggy nanny state – too many stupid laws made by stupid people. Contact Schutzhund Australia or find a kennel club near you by contacting the ANKC member bodies: AFAIK you can do this without the character work – you can get the BO and tracking titles without doing the character work needed to get a SchH title. Dogs trained to attack are dangerous dogs.
Owners must comply with the prescribed conditions (for more information on dangerous dogs, consult or contact your advice for more information). Unfortunately, there are many areas in the canine world where the law is simple and not necessarily a good thing for animal welfare, especially when done by people who don`t fully understand it and/or are pushed by those who might have an ulterior motive for it. But fair enough and thanks for your explanation, SG. Schutzhund is an absolutely fine and very disciplined sport – disciplined for handlers and produces dogs with very high precision in obedience. Dogs must have an appropriate temperament to be able to complete all the components of the sport. Some people don`t like their dogs proving that they don`t have the “equipment” to achieve the exceptional training heights and strength Schutzhund demands. Schutzhund Australia provides clubs with qualified trial judges for sanctioned events. The Schutzhund Australia Judges Program trains Schutzhund Australia members as licensed judges and clubs can also schedule certified foreign judges for events hosted by Schutzhund Australia. If they are part of a club, everything is done.
